Panegyric collection for July and August with texts for different occasions by various church fathers: homilies, episodes from saints' lives and martyrdoms, as well as the transferring of relics and miracles, and encomia. Included is the life of St. Athanasius Athonites (leaf 9a). The text for July 1st concludes Ms. Hil. 445 (although it would be expected to be the beginning of this manuscript). Forms part of a set with Mss. Hil. 439-445. Inscription on leaf 398a about the location of the manuscript, dated 1726. Two other minor inscriptions on leaves 398a and on the front cover. Without ornamentation.
